British model and producer John Pearson has blazed a trail within the male modelling industry since his career began at the early age of 18, when a photographer casually approached him to pose for a few photos. Soon after, John relocated to New York in the late ‘80s, during the pinnacle of the supermodel era, landing the cover of Self magazine alongside Uma Thurman within a matter of days. John has remained in-demand as a model ever since, with an impressive resume including multiple appearances in publications ranging from Vogue Italia to VMAN, THREE DECADES in US GQ and being cast in George Michael’s iconic ‘Freedom 90’ video, procuring coveted campaigns with the likes of Valentino and Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Perry Ellis, all whilst being photographed by heavyweights such Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh, Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, Bruce Weber and Steven Meisel. John continues to shoot regularly, having just completed an 8 page editorial for Luxx magazine and a campaign in Australia….Herb Ritts said of John “ Mr Pearson is a natural who needs no guidance or direction”
John is currently producing, writing and hosting a culture show for television called ‘Looking for Picasso’.
