What is the most unforgettable historic site you’ve ever visited?
The magnificent Temples of Angkor in Cambodia, built between the 9th and the 13th century by the Khmer Empire. Both their size and their architecture is absolutely astonishing… Visiting them feels like walking in a haven of peace filling you up with divine inspiration.
If a professional musician of your choice were willing to entertain you with a private concert, whose talents would you request, and what songs would you want played?
I would definitely ask for Louis Armstrong! His musics are always filling me up with great joy and happiness, making me enjoy every tiny bit of the beauty of life… "La Vie en Rose" would be a hit!
What is the longest lasting friendship you’ve ever had?
Two super fun twins sisters I met on my first day of primary school, we quickly became best friends and literally grew up together through all the ups and downs of childhood and of the teenage years.. Even though we took diverging paths after high school we still keep in touch a lot and I'm always very excited to see them when I go back home!
During what closed-door meeting in history would you most like to have been the proverbial fly on the wall?
I would have loved witnessing the signing of the armistice in the Compiègne train wagon on November 11th 1918, putting an end to the first World War… What a memorable moment it must have been!
What is the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?
Moving to the United States by myself at 16 years old after graduating from high-school, without knowing anyone in the university or even the whole state! I got really lucky ending up being with the most amazing room mate, and everyone was so nice it only took a few days before it already felt like home! :-)
When people find out what you do for a living, what is the most typical question that they are likely to ask you regarding your job?
The question I probably get the most is if there is a lot of competition between the girls… Honestly I only feel like it's a good thing; indeed because there is so many girls you meet incredible ones who become some of your closest friends, and as a result it doesn't feel like competition anymore, it's like a big summer camp all year round filled with friends from all over the world!
Of all the movie characters you have seen, which one do you believe is most like you?
Probably Elizabeth Bennet, the lead role in Pride and Prejudice, a lively young bright lady who is fun to be around, independent yet very sociable with an interesting outlook on the society surrounding her
What is the best purchase under $100 that you’ve ever made in your life?
A 2€ Pierre Hermé Macaron for sure!! The best thing you will ever taste! :)
