Spend just one minute with Julie Henderson and you’ll agree that her talent runneth over. A triple threat model, actor, and businesswoman, her diverse background in athletics, academics, and marketing has set the stage for her immense success in the fashion industry.... MORE
Julie grew up as a true baller in Michigan, earning a full basketball scholarship to the University of Notre Dame where she competed on the Final Four team, while simultaneously being enrolled in the school’s intense ROTC program. With dreams of being a fighter pilot, the young coed joined the highly-selective pilot-training program as one of few women amongst several hundred men. After she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing, fate intervened and modeling became her destiny. Julie packed up her car and her life and traveled to New York City. The rest, as they say, is history.
Having appeared in print and television campaigns for L’Oreal, Avenue, H&M, Talbots, Lane Bryant, Evans, Catherines, Just My Size, Kohl’s, Belks, La Redoute, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy’s, Ulla Popken and Target, Julie’s star continues to shine. Most recently, the shapely beauty and classically trained actor was featured in a national ad for T.J. Maxx. In addition, she has starred in the Off-Broadway play, Sex, Relationships and Sometimes Love, and was featured on an episode of “America’s Next Top Model” alongside photographer and co-host Nigel Barker.
A change agent and advocate for healthy living, self love, and unity amongst women, Julie co-founded Curves for Change in 2010, a non-profit organization for professional models to collectively engage in philanthropic efforts. Her future plans include inspiring young women to live productive, fulfilling lives, starring on television and in film, and changing the world.
