Marc Sebastian is a writer, actor and documentarian from Long Island, New York. He has completed his studies at Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and has trained at a conservatory in London. In 2017 Marc was commissioned by Jefferson Hack to develop a comedy series based on the modeling industry co executive produced by Kate Moss. He has appeared in a short film titled “Unraveled” by Isaac Lock. Recently, a short documentary that Marc directed has been accepted to several film festivals including the Madrid International Film Festival and has won “Best Short Form Documentary” at the London Independent Film Awards.
As a Model, Marc was discovered while interning at Kenzo in Paris. He received his big break upon walking in the Balenciaga Spring 2013 show during the men’s collections season. In the same season, Marc also opened and closed Lanvin, and walked in the Marc by Marc Jacobs show. He also appeared in the contemporary label's lookbook as well as being featured in magazines such as Dazed, i-D, Vogue Turkey and has appeared in promotions for Harrods and Topman. He has also appeared on the cover of 10 Men Magazine. Off-duty, Marc is an outspoken LGBT advocate. In 2017, Marc co-founded Voices 4, a non-violent activist group that applies political pressure to bring about action on global issues facing the LGBTQ+ community. The organization has garnered a large social presence and has been featured in a number of media outlets. Marc currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
