At 15-years-old, Mariah Strongin walked into a modeling agency in her hometown of Medford, OR, and asked for a pageant sponsor. Though she was denied the ask, she convinced the agency to bring her to IMTA, a competition in New York for models and actors. There, Mariah won the Model of the Year, Actress of the Year, and Most Sought After awards – and subsequently landed her first modeling contract. That one week completely changed her life and transported her from living on a ranch raising horses to racing down New York City streets heading to jobs and castings. Since then, Mariah has traveled to six of the seven continents, often learning the local language and customs, and has lived abroad for three-plus years.
Mariah has a long list of clients, including: Target, Milly, Veronica Beard, Lands End, Aeropostale, Cosmopolitan Italia, Marie Claire Thailand, Teen Vogue, Mentor, Macy’s, Delias, Fabletics, Neutrogena, Haute Look, Nordstrom, Alberta Ferreti, Diesel, Tods, Marc Jacobs, Saks, and many more. She has walked in Fashion Week shows in New York, Milan, and Australia and she has been featured in commercials for Mentos (Japan), Macy’s, Kohls, and Target.
An accomplished actress, Mariah appeared in the YouTube Red film The Keys of Christmas starring Rudy Mancuso, Mariah Carey, and DJ Khaled; the web series, A.K.A Wyatt Cenac starring Wyatt Cenac; as well as the television shows Gotham, Blue Bloods, and The Detour.
With her Instagram following of 30,000+, Mariah has seen features from brands and magazines including W magazine Australia, Maxim, Vogue, and more.
In addition, Mariah has been studying nutrition and fitness and is in the process of becoming a licensed nutritionist in New York State. She has plans to blog, aid and make a difference in the way models and clients view food and exercise.
