Italian-Australian model Nicole Trunfio was discovered upon entering, and winning, a series of modeling competitions in Perth. She moved to New York City shortly thereafter, and received her big break courtesy of Tom Ford during the height of his tenure as creative director of Gucci. She also appeared in the collections of Versace, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana in Milan, and Chanel in Paris.
Perhaps most notably, Nicole served as a mentor on the Australian edition of the modeling reality-competition series, The Face, alongside Naomi Campbell. She also appeared in the official 2013 Pirelli Calendar film, and graced the cover of Maxim when she was crowned "Australia's Sexiest Supermodel." GQ recently awarded her a similar honor, and she glowed, with child, in editorial features for the international editions of Harper's Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan.
Off-duty, Nicole plays guitar, and is a member of the band, Henry Blak. She is also the founder of the accessories line “Trunfio Universe.” Nicole also rides dirt bikes and skateboard, and "loves to cook!" Fun fact: Herfavorite ice cream flavor is salted caramel pretzel with salted caramel sauce.
Nicole is also actively involved with One Water, an organization dedicated to funding life-changing water projects in Africa, and Nomad Two Worlds, a collaborative art project with Indigenous artists founded by fashion photographer Russell James.
