Toronto, Canada native Senait was discovered in 2011 by a former student of her high school, who had gone on to model herself. Her breakthrough was appearing in Chanel’s Fall 2013 show and working with Jean Paul Gaultier personally, whom Senait holds in high regard.
Senait, whose ethnic background is Ethiopian, has appeared in the campaigns of Armani Exchange and Maybelline. David Sims captured her for Sephora’s Summer 2013 advert. In addition, she has been featured in numerous international editorials. Publications to date include Numéro, V Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar UK, CR Fashion Book, Wonderland, Under the Influence and UmnO. Senait has also been cast for two stories in Harper’s Bazaar.
Since her debut, Senait has graced countless catwalks in all fashion capitals. Shows include Givenchy, Loewe, Versace and Calvin Klein. She has been cast for four Burberry and three Ralph Lauren seasons.
In her spare time, Senait likes to paint or settle down with a serving of her favourite sweet treat: chocolate chip mint. She names shooting beauty stories and campaigns one of her strong points.
